EXTREME LIGHTS NIGHT RUN SERIES
Experience magnificent sunsets in the Winelands!

Bring your headlamp and join in this exciting new series of three fantastic events in the Simonsberg region of the Stellenbosch Winelands.  Before we start each run you can ‘’toast’’ the spring sunset before heading off on these scenic trails, built by Dirtopia.

Please note: Extreme Lights Night Run #3 @Knorhoek that was intended to take place the 9 December 2015 has been postponed to Friday, 15 January 2016 and will be held at Uitkyk Wine Estate

REGISTRATION: From 18h30 at the venue START TIMES: 10km - 20h00 & 5km - 20h15 Sunset: 19h59 COST: Pre entries (closed date: 13 January) 5km – R85  & 10km – R110

Late entries (taken on event day):
5km – R100  & 10km – R130

ROUTES:  The Simonsberg trails have some of the most rewarding singletrack and this time you get to enjoy it in the dark! Guaranteed to be a special experience to kick start the New year!

GENERAL SERIES INFO:
Pre-enter to secure your spot as entries are limited for all three events. Extreme lights will be for sale at the start/finish areas or order online and collect your new light at registration.

The refreshment station will have Powerade, fruit & nuts and Coke at the finish for all!

There will be coffee, catering, massages and a kid’s play area at the finish.

Prizes to overall Men 1st, 2nd, 3rd and overall Women 1st, 2nd, 3rd of all distances and a lucky draw at the end!

TIMING: Timing will be done with Amarider Trail Tags.  No tag, no time:  available for rent for R20 on the day! Please note that ONLY pre-entries timing will be live on the day. 

Late entries (if available on the day) will still require administration.

ROUTES: Climbing on Klapmutskop with singletrack trails in the Conservancy. Some jeeptrack between the vineyards with far reaching views of Paarl Mountain and the winelands.
Coffee and boerewors rolls for sale afterwards. Wine tasting available.

ROUTES:  Less challenging trails with the long route going into the neighbouring farm of Nooitgedacht.  Great singletrack and jeeptrack between the vineyards, farm roads and a small forest.

Catering, coffee & wine tasting available. Medals to all finishers.
