HOLIDAY SEASON RUN WAY DOWN SOUTH!

After a scenic two hour drive from Cape Town over rolling hills, you will find the Southern-most region of Africa, part of the magical Overberg, where the majestic Atlantic and Indian oceans meet. This area stretches from Die Dam in the west, to the De Hoop Nature Reserve in the east.

You can enjoy a NEW addition this year will be the family holiday run just before sunset on the 16th of December. This run will have a 5km and 10km option with the routes crossing various terrain of tar, beach and off-road trails. What a weekend for the whole family to enjoy as the holiday season starts!

The main mountain bike race on the Saturday morning is 72km, testing the skill and stamina of the rider. Then there is the scenic 46km route and the slightly downscaled 35km ride, as well as a 10km event to enjoy at your leisure. MORE INFO

GENERAL: Medals for all finishers and kids entertainment! There will be waterpoints on the routes, you will be timed and there are great prizes to be won afterwards and in the lucky draw!

Visit the unique towns and villages - Napier, Elim, Bredasdorp, Arniston/Waenhuiskrans, Struisbaai, L'Agulhas and Suiderstrand as well as the De Mond Nature Reserve and the rugged plains of the Agulhas National Park. Feast your eyes on the beautiful fynbos, unique to this area. A visit you will always remember.

The area also offers kilometers of sandy white beaches, lush vineyards and farm lands, the quaint harbour at Struisbaai and the oldest working lighthouse in South Africa overlooking the place where two oceans meet at L'Agulhas.

Not only is this area steeped in rich cultural history, but offers unique fauna and flora and an abundance of birdlife. This is also home to the Blue Crane. Whether you want to explore or just relax and take in the scenery, this beautiful area has something for each and everyone.
