TIMING: You can purchase a permanent Trail Tag at R100 which you will use at all Dirtopia Trail Run events. If you have a Trail Tag from previous events, please bring it along and wear on right wrist. Runners also have the option of renting a temporary Amarider Trail tag at R20 and will be given to you at registration with your race number. The temporary tag will be taken off at the finish line. 3. The reader is powerful enough to read through arm warmers etc.
Runners must stay on the marked trail. Listen to the MC at the start and follow yellow boards. Do not turn unless there is an arrow. Follow signs in front of you!
Please do not litter! We also urge you to not leave valuables in your vehicle. We can keep car keys at registration for you.

Blitz Victory Trail Run

Wear green to celebrate the Rugby World Cup Champions or better yet – your Springbok supporters’ shirt!
Dirtopia & Sportsmans Warehouse is celebrating the public holiday that is in honour of our Bokke. The RWC was played in France and L’Avenir is owned by a French company, and also strong supporters of rugby and South African Springboks.
Thank you uncle Cyril for giving us the public holiday - come run though orchards, vineyards and of course Dirtopia’s singletrack trails.
DATE: Friday, 15 December 2023
VENUE: L’Avenir Estate, on the R44 near Stellenbosch
REGISTRATION: From 06h15 at the venue
START TIMES: 11km: 07h00, 6km: 07h15
COST: Pre entries close 13 December
6km – R150 and 11km – R180
Kids under the age of 18 pay only R60 pre entry.
NB: Late entry kids under 18 pay the normal late entry fee
Late entries will be taken on event day at an additional fee of R50.
Timing by Amarider Trail Tag – available for rent (R20) or buy (R100). Live results on www.trailtag.co.za for all pre-entrants; late entries & changes will be live by the Monday.
ROUTE DESCRIPTIONS:
This is a fast course between the vineyards and orchards with great views and beautiful Wineland scenery. The long route also use the neighbouring farm, so you’ll get some singletrack in the forest, jeep track through the vineyards and orchards.
GENERAL INFO: Pre-entries will receive the discount. Medals to all finishers. The refreshment station on both routes will have Powerade, fruit & cold water and Coke at the finish for all. There will be coffee and something to eat for sale. Stay for the prize giving & lucky draw and win some of those great wines! Also, vouchers to be won from the title sponsor Sportsmans Warehouse and of course the best socks from FALKE! Ultimate Performance Therapy will be at the finish for a relaxing massage afterwards. All finishers will receive a medal. PVM sampling at the start/finish of energy bars, gels and drinks.
