TIMING: You can purchase a permanent Trail Tag at R100 which you will use at all Dirtopia Trail Run events. If you have a Trail Tag from previous events, please bring it along and wear on right wrist. Runners also have the option of renting a temporary Amarider Trail tag at R20 and will be given to you at registration with your race number. The temporary tag will be taken off at the finish line. TRAIL TAG:
1. Only run with your own TrailTag
2. Please return your rental tags at the finish line.
3. The reader is powerful enough to read through arm warmers etc.
Runners must stay on the marked trail. Listen to the MC at the start and follow yellow boards. Do not turn unless there is an arrow. Follow signs in front of you! Race numbers must be visible at all times, especially at the finish line.
Please do not litter! We also urge you to not leave valuables in your vehicle. We can keep car keys/valuables at registration for you.

Get ready to embrace summer and kick off the festive season with an exhilarating trail run through the scenic singletrack trails at Dornier Wines! After the run, unwind on the lawn with a glass of wine, surrounded by stunning mountain views.
Event Details:
- Date: Sunday, 8 December 2024
- Venue: Dornier Estate, Upper Blaauwklippen Road, Stellenbosch
- Registration: Opens at 06:30 at the venue
- Start Times:
- Cost (Pre-entry by 5 December):
- 5.5km: R145
- 10km: R175
- Kids (under 18): R60 (pre-entry). Note: Late entry kids pay standard late entry fees.
- Late entries available on event day (with additional fee of R55).
Timing:
Timing will be managed by Amarider Trail Tag (available to rent for R20 or purchase for R100). Results will be live on trailtag.co.za, with late entries added by Tuesday.
Route Description:
Enjoy a run for all fitness levels across vineyards, fynbos, and forest trails, offering breathtaking scenery along the way. After crossing the finish line, relax next to the cellar with a cheese board and a glass of Dornier's excellent wines.
General Information:
- Pre-entries save on entry fees!
- Refreshment stations on both routes will provide Powerade, fruit, cold water, and Coke at the finish.
- Food and coffee will be available for purchase. Don’t miss out on Dornier’s famous cheese platters before the prizegiving ceremony!
- Lucky Draw Prizes: Stand a chance to win Dornier wines, Sportsmans Warehouse vouchers, and FALKE socks!
- Finishers: All participants will receive a medal, and the first 250 pre-entries will get an exclusive event-specific medal.
Bonus: Ultimate Sports Recovery will be on-site offering relaxing massages after the race.
